Gol Gappe is a hilarious comedy-drama that hit screens in 2023, with Smeep Kang at the helm as director. The star-studded cast includes Binnu Dhillon, Rajat Bedi, Ihana Dhillon, Navneet Kaur Dhillon, and B. N. Sharma. The film is a collaborative production between Zee Studios, Triflix Entertainment LLP, Janvi Productions, and Soham Rockstar Entertainment. Interestingly, the film is a remake of the 1989 Malayalam movie Ramji Rao Speaking.

The story of Gol Gappe centers around three friends named Jaggi, Pali, and Nathuram, who operate a fast-food establishment. A notorious criminal, Bagga, kidnaps Dr. Chawla's wife and demands ten lakhs in compensation. However, due to a telecommunication mix-up, the ransom call is accidentally redirected to the Golgappe outlet, leading to a series of hilarious events that ensue.

Originally slated for release in April 2020, the film had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown in India. After a long wait, Gol Gappe finally hit screens on 17 February 2023, to the delight of fans and movie buffs.
